Why Use a Broker to Buy a TBM

The TBM is a sophisticated aircraft with complicated engine, electrical, environment, and hydraulic systems and a fair amount of “Gotcha items”.

Most of us would not purchase real estate without the expertise of a real estate agent to provide competitive sales data, inspections, and comprehensive information about the neighborhood.

The same logic exists in the purchase of a TBM. The aircraft you’re considering purchasing is in most cases, worth more than the home your family lives in.

You need a knowledgeable independent source to review the ownership and maintenance history, logbooks, status of the aircraft that you’re considering.

The key to the transaction is the “Independent Source”. If a broker or Daher distributor has a TBM for sale, their responsibility is to the seller is to get the most amount of money for the aircraft.

My sole responsibility is only to you, the buyer, to ensure that the aircraft is up to date on its maintenance and secure the best possible purchase price.

If you ultimately decide not to use my services, please do not make a purchase without the counsel of a knowledgeable TBM broker.  Owners think that they have negotiated a great purchase price only to find later, at the next annual inspection, that they are faced with $100,000+ in unforeseen maintenance expenses.
